About the Curriculum

The Institute provides graduate level education for health club professionals. The curriculum was developed through feedback from members, attendees, and faculty and input from an advisory group of industry leaders. Course content, roundtable discussions, management resources, and industry research provide insight on how to execute more effectively within the club setting, give perspective on performance within the industry, and allow participants to gain a broader understanding about how the industry works together to support healthy lifestyles. The courses are interactive to ensure that each attendee leaves The Institute with a strong understanding of the fundamental skills needed to run a successful health club, a new perspective on what it means to truly lead an organization, and a network of industry leaders to call on for advice for years to come.

“Going into the program I knew about the curriculum and networking opportunities, but both proved to be far more beneficial than I could have anticipated. The most valuable part of The Institute was walking away with an even better understanding of our industry and a revived passion to challenge myself and our club. "
